Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Bookmark.gallery at bookmark.gallery (the "Service"). "We", "us", and "our" refer to the operator of Bookmark.gallery. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service
Bookmark.gallery is an independent application that shows the posts you bookmark and like on X as a visual gallery. You sign in with X, which is the only sign-in method, and import your bookmarks and likes through the Bookmark Gallery Chrome extension, which uses your existing X session in your own browser. The Service is free to use. The optional paid subscription, Bookmark.gallery Pro ("Pro"), also keeps your gallery in sync through X's official API and adds AI tagging. Descriptions of planned features are not a promise that those features will be released.
Bookmark.gallery is not operated, sponsored, or endorsed by X. Your use of X remains subject to X's Terms of Service.
Accounts and authorization
Use an account you own or are authorized to use, provide accurate registration information, and keep your credentials secure. You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. The Service is not intended for children under 13.
When you sign in with X, you authorize the access described on X's consent screen. When you start a sync, the extension reads your bookmarks and likes from X on your behalf. If you use Pro, you separately grant read-only access to your bookmarks and likes so that our servers can sync them for you. We do not ask for or receive your X password. Neither signing in nor syncing lets us publish posts, send messages, or change your bookmarks or likes. Any future feature that requires additional access will explain that access and request your permission.
You can stop using the Service at any time, remove the extension, and revoke its access in your X connected-app settings. None of these automatically deletes your Bookmark.gallery account or its existing data. Contact us to request deletion.
Pro subscription
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.
- Price and billing: Pro is billed yearly at the price shown at checkout. Applicable taxes are calculated and collected by Paddle. There is no free trial and no monthly plan.
- Renewal: your subscription renews automatically each year using your saved payment method until you cancel. We will notify you before a price change takes effect at your next renewal.
- Cancellation: you can cancel at any time from Settings → Pro → Manage subscription. Pro stays active until the end of the year you have paid for and does not renew.
- Refunds: you can request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment or of any renewal, as described in our Refund Policy.
- Fair use: automatic sync includes a monthly allowance, currently enough for roughly 200 new posts, because every post X's API returns costs us money. When the allowance runs out, you can keep syncing with the free extension until it resets. Pro does not import your full history; use the extension for that.
- Dependence on X: Pro relies on X's official API and its pricing, limits, and policies. If X changes or withdraws the access Pro depends on, we may change or discontinue affected features. If we discontinue Pro, we will refund the unused part of your current subscription year.
Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- Violate applicable law, another person's rights, or X's applicable terms.
- Access another person's account or private information without authorization.
- Bypass access controls, interfere with the Service, or distribute malicious code.
- Conduct spam, harassment, surveillance, or unauthorized redistribution of data.
Content and privacy
You and other rights holders retain ownership of your respective content. Access through the Service does not transfer ownership of X posts or other third-party content, or grant permission to republish private material.
Our Privacy Policy describes the information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Availability and responsibility
The Service is under development. Features may change, experience interruptions, or be discontinued. Imports depend on X's website, API, availability, limits, and policies, and may stop working if X changes them. Do not rely on the Service as your only copy of important information.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. To that same extent, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
We may restrict or suspend access to address abuse, security risks, violations of these Terms, or legal requirements. Data handling following suspension or closure is described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
We may update these Terms as the Service changes and will update the date above. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain agreement before a material change takes effect.
